Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge: How to Send Scheduled Text Messages in Android 5.1.1 Lollipop

Schedule message is a feature in the Messages app in your Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge that can be used to automatically send a message to the required contact at a specific time. You can use this feature when you need to send a text message to a contact in the future without you have to worry that you'll forget to send it at the right time. But, you have to remember that when your phone is off or the network is unstable, the scheduled message won't be sent.

How to send a scheduled text message?
You can do so by using the following steps:
  1. Open the Messages app.
  2. Tap at the bottom right corner of the screen to compose a new text message.
  3. Enter the recipient's phone number in the Enter recipients field or tap to pick up a contact from your contacts list.
  4. Write your message in the Enter message field.
  5. Tap More at the top right and then select Schedule message.
  6. Set the date and time for the message to send, and then tap Done button.
  7. Tap Send button to set the message to be sent at the specified time. When you see the message in the conversation, it will be labelled with as a sign that it's a scheduled message.
  8. Before the scheduled message is sent, you can do some customisations:
    • Cancel the message: you can cancel the sending of the scheduled message by long tapping the scheduled message bubble and then select Cancel message followed by tapping OK button.
    • Send the message: you can send the scheduled message right now by long tapping the scheduled message bubble and then select Send now.
    • Edit the message: when there's something wrong in your scheduled message, you can edit it by long tapping the scheduled message bubble and then select Edit message. If you have finished editing the message, tap Send button to set the message to be sent at the specified time.
